AMEN Objectives
The objectives of Association of Micro Entrepreneurs of Nigeria include:-
1. To promote our members' products and their businesses
Educating our members and providing information on government’s policies and regulations that may impact on their products and businesses. Providing information relating to financial assistance and the possible sources of finance that maybe available to growing their businesses.
To expose members to local and foreign markets through trade-fairs/exhibitions and Promoting export of their products globally using information technology.
Equipping members with technological and technical skills through seminars/workshops for the advancement of their businesses. Offering other industrial extension services to members.
2. To provide Support To Government's Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs):-
Providing assistance to government agencies such as; NAFDAC, SON, NDLEA, etc.infighting against sub-standard and fake products in the Nigerian market within the competence and capacity of the Association.
Ensuring that members maintain the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in their business activities.
participate actively in government policies formulation and Partnership with the MDAs in order to create enabling environment for MSMEs to strive.
3. Support economic development
4. Partner with Private, Research and Academic & Public institutions
Creating research opportunities for students and members of research and academic institutions for their research works using members and their business facilities as a source of data
Facilitates the process of Industrial attachment for students willing to embark on industrial attachment with at any of members’ facilities.
AMEN shall carry out research works on behalf of members and make the results available to them at a little cost or sometimes free.
Partner with other private institutions for the benefits of members’ of the association and public.
